Educational Background

After graduating magna cum laude as a double major in Mathematics and Physics at Dickinson College in 1981, Dr. Eric A. Marchant went on to receive a Doctor of Medicine degree at Temple University School of Medicine in 1985.

Residencies and Staff Positions

Dr. Eric A. Marchant began a general surgery residency at Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and in his third year was accepted into a plastic surgery residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. After completing his plastic surgery residency in 1991, Dr. Marchant started his own practice and has established himself as a leading Philadelphia and Doylestown, Bucks County plastic surgeon with staff privileges at Doylestown Hospital and the Doylestown Hospital Surgery Center in Warrington, Pennsylvania. He was Director of the Department of Surgery at Doylestown Hospital from 2007 to 2015 and presently serves as President of the Doylestown Hospital Medical Staff.

Personal Interests

Dr. Eric A. Marchant is married and has two children. His son is a graduate of Yale University and is currently serving as an Officer in the United States Navy. His daughter is a graduate of Northwestern University and is employed in digital marketing. Dr. Marchant is active in the Doylestown and Philadelphia communities and served on the Central Bucks Family YMCA Board of Directors for six years. He enjoys digital media and traveling. Dr. Marchant is also proficient in mathematics and holds a U.S. patent for a template that can create envelopes for any size card.
